What is the maximum group size allowed on the dock?

For everyone's comfort and safety, we kindly ask that groups be limited to 12 guests or fewer. Thank you!

Is the dock house included in my reservation?

At this time, access to the dock house is off-limits to guests. However, we have a variety of amenities available in the large deck box near the stairs.

What should I bring for a day on the dock?

While The Sunnyside Dock is ready for your enjoyment, we recommend bringing the following items to enhance your experience:

  • Beach Towels
  • Beverages, Snacks, and S'mores
  • Ice (Yeti 65 Cooler Provided)
  • Bluetooth Speaker
  • Charcoal Briquettes
  • Additional Floaties

Is there a bathroom nearby?

Yes! A porta potty is conveniently located on the peninsula between the dock and the marina for our guests to use.

Can I tie up my boat at the dock?

Absolutely! The Sunnyside Dock has multiple dock cleats for active DAY USE ONLY. Please visit our Reservations page for information about overnight transient moorage in the Sunnyside Marina—available for rent starting at just $75/night.

Is the dock pet friendly?

Definitely! We love furry friends. Our dock is fully fenced for your pet’s safety, with a gated stairway that allows for easy access in and out of the water—all within the secure enclosed area.

Can I spend the night on the dock?

The Sunnyside Dock operates from 10am to 11pm. Please respect these business hours to allow our groundskeepers time to prepare for upcoming reservations.

Is there onsite parking available?

There is space for two cars on the peninsula between the dock and the marina (right in front of the porta potty). Additional parking for up to two more cars may be available at the Sunnyside Marina.

NOTE: If your reservation is for the Dock only, please check with us in advance about Marina parking, as spots may be used by other guests.

I see security cameras...am I being watched?

Totally valid concern! While security cameras are in place for safety and emergencies, rest assured we're not here to be the fun police. Your privacy is important to us.

Is the dock ADA accessible?

Unfortunately, the dock is not currently ADA accessible. We hope to improve accessibility in the future and are happy to answer any specific questions in the meantime.
